Unison

Running down to small town Indiana on the weekends with the kids has been pretty fun, they get to go into their little dojo and kick the crap out of each other for about 45 mins, while I sit and cheer them on. Seems like my daughter will be a pretty good fighter when she grows up, she’s got her a nasty one, two, three, punch with a sidewinder kick.

After practice we will run over to antique stores or hit up some local farmers markets to check out what they are selling, sometimes when I hit up antique malls I get a little nostalgic and weirder out from some of the material I put my hands on. Family photos I find are pretty sad, since you know they are no longer living and people just forgot who that person was. Sometimes the random shoe, that someone wore and loved. But now sits in a room where others like myself can think of a time when it was worn.

On another note, I saw from sketchjam that some of the members there are gearing up for the project rooftop Captain America redesign challenge. I think since i haven’t done anything in a few days I will go ahead and toss something out there. My brain is thinking OSS, or Devil Brigade style since he was from the 50′s but then again a modern looking on would be cool too. I need to do some background on the character more to see what I come up with. Hope its not crap.
