On Thursday I was invited to take a joyride on a 1928 Ford Trimotor by the EAA-The Spirit of Aviation. The Ford Trimotor also is known as the Tin Goose was a Golden Era three-engine aircraft produced by the Henry Ford Company. It began production in 1925 and ended in 1933.

There were in total of 199 Ford Trimotors created. Of those 199 aircraft, only 18 exist in museums and 2 are operational. The aircraft we were able to fly on is on loan to the EAA for tours around the country for people to experience the joys of flight in the Golden Era.
